10月17-20日，由国际化学生物学学会（International Chemical Biology Society, ICBS）主办的第六届国际化学生物学年会于在上海华东理工大学召开。浙江大学药学院张海涛研究员在“化学生物学明日之星”（Rising Stars of Chemical Biology）报告环节中做了题为“XFEL for Structural Chemical Biology of GPCRs”的报告，并获得了“青年化学生物学家奖”（ICBS 2017 Young Chemical Biologist award）。本年度全球仅有三位青年化学生物学家获此荣誉。张海涛研究员同时还入选国际化学生物学学会新一届全球理事会（Global Council），将与来自全球各个地区的20位顶尖化学生物学家共同促进化学生物学的创新发展与交流合作。

      本次大会由上海交通大学邓子新院士、华东理工大学张立新教授共同担任大会主席，Emory大学医学院副院长、药理系主任傅海安教授担任ICBS董事会主席，邀请了包括诺贝尔化学奖获得者Karl Barry Sharpless教授等9位国内外院士做特邀报告。会议以“化学点亮生命，携手共创未来”为主题，来自美、英、日、韩、澳等几十个国家和地区的专家学者们作邀请报告89场和展示墙报100个，是一场化学与生物学交叉领域的学术盛会，这也是ICBS大会首次在中国举办，本次会议的成功召开彰显了我国科学家在化学生物学领域影响力的不断增长。
